Last night was the final concert of the NYO 2012 Winter course. We were at the Barbican in London. Here is a review that has appeared.
I miss it so much already!
Bomb “playing” my violin.
I love Paul Daniel.
I love the Walton Symphony.
I love playing piano in orchestra even if you can’t hear me (Liverpool Philarmonic Hall below).
I love learning how to dance (badly) the Single Ladies routine by Beyoncé.
Actually, looking back, we did nothing compared to that goddess woman. Our routine looked nothing like hers!
I love doing the workshop with Bellowhead (an intro for our next course in Easter!)
I don’t really know what they mean by “..culminating in a spectacular ceilidh.” Will we be dancing on stage? The ceilidh this course was fun but I think I had a bit too much fun because everyone seemed to be avoiding that sweaty weird girl (me). Oh well!
I didn’t quite love getting eczema on my hands. I didn’t know what it was at first. Weird red blistery blobs all over my hands and elbows. It hurt to move and touch so I wore plasters all over them. I looked a bit like Dobby the House Elf when he ironed his hands. I put it down to being tired and playing so much this week.
I am absolutely drained. I was sleeping in the hospital whilst waiting on what the doctor had to say about my skin condition. I’m in London with Mum for a few days before heading back to school. Nearby was an M&S and this is what I am going to indulge in for today.
I hope everyone has a fantastic year. I know that I’ve had an unforgettable beginning. School after the weekend and… I haven’t done my homework.
I’m not going to touch my violin for a few days either. 😀
