Last night I spent my evening playing violin for the wonderful Kite and the Crane as part of their EP launch. They’re an indie-folk band based in Edinburgh who make lovely music. Have a listen to their songs! My favourite one is ‘London’.
Meanwhile I’m struggling to find the write (genuinely just wrote that oh my lord what is going on with me?!) words to use for this post, simply because of a lack of brain power and linguistic capability. This probably explains why I’ve neglected blogging for the past couple of weeks.
I have acquired a habit of constantly questioning every sentence and phrase I put down, whether it’s online or in an essay. Where has this come from? I place the blame on studying English. Through fear of constructing essays and of the exam which is a week tomorrow, I seem to have lost the momentum to write. I’m hesitant to type even now, almost self-conscious of how my writing is perceived (which is ridiculous seeing as the post is still a draft and unpublished).
To avoid further embarrassment I’ll refrain from writing for the time being and wait till exams are over. My head will be clearer then. So have a few more photos.
In the boarding house, sticking notes on the bare surface of the walls is apparently against the rules.
I found an old sketchbook at home and used the few remaining blank pages at the back for revision diagrams. Flicking through my drawings I found this one, made seven years ago, which is quite impressive:
Looking at it I feel very proud of my abilities as an 11 year old. However my talent is short-lived and the rest fail to meet the same standard. This sketch is hilarious:
Enjoy, goodnight and good luck for exams!
